Every winner was then rejudged and one was judged as the best. Judges said it was down to everything we were doing to support Manufacturing within South Yorkshire which included going into schools, organizing events and speaking at industry events

Corrosion resistant materials was recognised by insider media, the award recognises 50 of the most ground breaking & innovative up & coming companies from the region.  This influences more recognition for Corrosion Resistant Materials & allows them to branch out. Being recognised for all their hard work is a reward.  It is great to not only be flying this flag for all South Yorkshire businesses’ but also for UK manufacturing and for the metal industry.

Corrosion resistant materials had a visit from Lord – lieutenant dame Hillary chapman to their site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The award was won due to exceptional growth in export sales.

Attending the event was Deputy Mayor of Rotherham Cllr Robert Taylor, Master and Mistress Cutler James and Jo Tear, as well as guests representing The BVAA, BSSA, Made In Yorkshire and The Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.  The director, Adam Bradley, explained what this meant to them as a company. It reassured them that they was on the right track and making the right decisions & that this was only the start as the company will continue to grow year on year.
